Dispatch Rider is to deliver and pick up documents, vehicle parts, and other related packages safely and promptly

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Dispatch Rider:

• Collect and deliver packages, spare parts, or documents.
• Ensure timely delivery and pick-up as instructed.
• Maintain delivery logs and obtain necessary signatures.
• Handle cash on delivery and provide receipts when necessary.
• Report traffic delays or delivery challenges.
• Perform daily checks on bike condition.
• Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of bike.
• Follow safety and traffic rules at all times.
• Keep in contact with workshop dispatch coordinator.
• Report fuel usage and maintenance needs regularly.
• Assist with minor workshop errands when not on dispatch.
• Act as a reliable representative of the company in the field.

Process Improvement:

• Always ensure standard operating procedures (SOPs) for quality assurance.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and other protocols while driving.

Compliance Required:

• Knowledge of local routes
• Time management
• Trustworthiness
• Road safety awareness

 KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI)                   

• Job Completion: Number of deliveries done in a day versus total number of deliveries to be done (target: ≥95%)
• Timeliness of Delivery:  (target: ≥95%).
• Zero Incident or Violation Report: Number of incident or violation on the road (target: ≤5%).
• Maintenance and Fuel Usage Records: (target ≥95%)

WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum of (1) year riding experience.

SSCE or OND

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION

A relevant professional qualification is an added advantage
